🌸 A HUGE thank you to Carver Road Baptist Church and Wright Brothers for the beautiful flowers and planters out front of our school! Carver Road was also on hand Monday morning to welcome staff with Chick-fil-A biscuits after Winter break.
Wright Brothers, a commercial heating and air company, offered a community project grant, and Carver Road Baptist chose our school as the recipient of this wonderful donation. Their support and kindness are always such a blessing to our staff, students, and families!

FREE Eyes/Ears/Dental/Nutrition (EED) Screenings are happening tomorrow, 2/26! Pre-K families should come and take advantage of this opportunity!



GSCS is hosting a Classified Employee Job Fair on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 277 E. Poplar St. from 3-5 p.m. If you are interested in school nutrition, maintenance, transportation and more, please attend!


Pre-K Families, Get Ready! GSCS Pre-K registration for the 2025-26 school year will be held February 24-March 14. Students must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025, to be eligible. Free EED Screenings will be held on February 26.

Please join us for our Sit & SIP meeting on February 27th, 2025! We will have a virtual meeting at 10AM via Google Meet ( https://meet.google.com/oss-ikqv-roa ) and an In-Person Meeting at 6PM in the Media Center.
This meeting is for our parents and community stakeholders. We’ll discuss our school’s 2025-2026 School Improvement Plan (SIP), School-Student-Teacher Compact, and the Title 1 School and District Plan. These are all steps for student success.
